Kim Garbers, recipient of the G. Bennit Serril award from the State of Minnesota, is the owner of Fairmont National Agency Inc. (FNA) with 40 years and counting in the industry. Kim’s firm belief in “the client comes first” has allowed her to focus on running her practice with that mentality, in all that they do. Her individual specialty is in working with families to get them the best value for their premium, along with medicare solutions to ensure her clients are fully protected.
Kim , life-long learner believes there is no limit to personal and professional growth. Because of that she is a proud member of NAIFA, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, where she has completed and moderated their “leadership in life institute” course.
As the President of Naifa for her local chapter in 1999-2000 and the State of MN 2008-2009, Kim has helped to contribute to the insurance industry at an even grander scale than what she does every day in her business. She currently serves on many local, state and federal boards with the insurance industry.
During her spare time she loves to be with her grandchildren, following their baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, softball, dance and soccer games. Spending time at the cabin with Mic, her husband of over 50 years. While Kim loves coming up with creative solutions for her client’s insurance needs, she also fuels her creative genes by decorating for weddings, showers, or just helping someone decorate their home or office.
Adam Garbers joined Fairmont National Agency in July 2014. Adam is licensed in Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and Long Term Care. Adam’s specialty is Commercial Business and Farms. Adam enjoys going to client’s farms and ensuring they have the correct coverage for their property, toys, and business equipment. Adam takes pride in connecting with his clients on a personal level and making sure they know he is there no matter what.
Adam is a local Martin County West graduate. He and his wife, Stacy, have 4 beautiful girls; Olivia, Lainey, Violet, and Elise. Adam and his family have made their home outside of town to enjoy the country living. To unwind, Adam and Stacy enjoy the evenings outside on the deck with a good bottle of wine.
In the little time to spare, Adam does spend some time hunting. He is active in the Fairmont Girls Basketball Association, and Sherburn, MN Ducks Unlimited Chapter. You can also find him on a softball field coaching in the spring and summers.
Alexa started working for Fairmont National Agency in August of 2022. She is a dedicated Customer Service Representative and is committed to providing friendly, reliable support and helping clients feel confident in their coverage. She takes pride in making the insurance process smooth and stress-free. Outside of work, she is happily engaged and enjoys working with and showing her horses, spending time outdoors, and making memories with friends and family. Alexa looks forward to assisting you with all our insurance needs.
Kasey started working for Fairmont National Agency in February of 2017 until March of 2020. She took some time off and has since come back to work here in April of 2023. Kasey is licensed in property and casualty insurance and is dedicated to helping individuals and families protect what matters most. As a proud parent of two and happily engaged, Kasey understands the importance of security and peace of mind. When not assisting clients with their insurance needs, you can find her cheering on her kids at their sporting events, enjoying road trips and spending quality time with family and friends. Kasey is here and ready to help you find the right coverage for your insurance needs.
Velda joined Fairmont National Agency in May of 2017. Velda’s role at the agency is to do bookkeeping. Velda pays the bills, does banking reconciliation, and commission statements. Velda graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with a degree in Applied Science-Accounting.
Velda lives in rural Mountain Lake with her husband Gary. In her spare time, Velda loves to spend time with her kids and grandkids.
